Tourism update | 5 August 2022

Today, John Hart represented Australian Chamber – Tourism at the Roundtable held in Canberra by the Minister for Trade and Tourism, Senator the Hon Don Farrell for senior leaders of tourism peak bodies. Earlier this week we held a meeting with interested members of the Tourism Committee to ensure consistent messaging and a coordinated approach so we could make the most out of the hour with the Minister. We focused on our desire to obtain support for previous announcements in both FY23 budget and the tourism policies announced on 16 May, as well as the need for immediate investment in workforce issues.
