Roundtable on trade for the Jobs and Skills Summit
On Tuesday, ACCI Director of Trade Policy and International Relations, Chris Barnes, attended a roundtable hosted by the Minister for Trade and Tourism, Don Farrell, ahead of the Jobs and Skills Summit on 1-2 September. Chris shared ACCI’s perspective on the role that trade policy can play in advancing Australia’s economic reform agenda, including through enhancing language skills to support exporters.
Call for nominations for chair and secretary – ICC Australia Banking Committee
ICC Australia is calling for nominations from interested members to be part of the ICC Australia Banking Committee. Applications close on September 30.
Please include a current CV along with a short statement that outlining your qualifications and interest in joining the committee leadership.
Please forward your nomination to the ACCI team by September 30.
Australia India Business Exchange – Business Mission in September
ACCI is calling for a member to participate as representative of ACCI in an upcoming Austrade business mission to India from 26-30 September.
This delegation of business leaders will be led by the Minister for Trade and Tourism, the Hon Don Farrell, and will focus on five industry sectors:
- Agribusiness and Food;
- Infrastructure and the Built Environment;
- Critical Minerals;
- Digital Health; and
- Education.
