Australian Arbitration Week
ACCI Head of Trade and International Affairs Chris Barnes joined ICC Australia’s session at Australian Arbitration Week held in Melbourne yesterday. 

The session was hosted by ICC Australia with a focus on “Diversity and Inclusion in Arbitration: The need for Professional, Cultural and Gender Diversity in ICC Arbitration”. 

Key speakers included ICC International Court of Arbitration President Claudia Salomon and Secretary General Alexander Fessas.

ICC Australia also launched its Arbitration Committee, with inaugural chair Mark Mangan. He joins Jo Delaney and Peter McQueen the Australian members of ICC Court and Simon Greenberg as chair of the ICC Australia Nomination Commission.  

 

ICC Australia National Policy Committee Meeting 
ICC Australia’s National Policy Committee is coming up soon on November 23 (2:30 – 4:00pm AEDT) with the session being held virtually. 

Special guest speaker Elisabeth Bowes, DFAT’s Head of Free Trade Agreements and Stakeholder Engagement will be overviewing Australia’s current and future regional trade agreements followed by a short Q&A session.
