National Press Club Address with Andrew McKellar, ACCI chief executive

Ahead of the Jobs and Skills Summit, ACCI chief executive Andrew McKellar addressed the National Press Club of Australia, outlining the business community’s case for tackling the country’s poor pro­ductivity performance, benefitting all Australians.

Andrew’s speech argued that the Summit is “the best opportunity we have had to restart substantive economic reform in more than a decade, perhaps in a generation”.

“With international borders flung open, our competitors are racing to access the best talent, the best markets, and the best ideas, and Australia is at risk of falling behind,” Andrew said.
