UK Election Webinar

Ahead of the UK elections next month, ACCI will hold a webinar with Worley global head of government relations Andy Burwell to discuss the implications the British election will have on businesses.

Andy is a former adviser at several UK ministerial departments, including the Cabinet Office, the Department for Business and Trade, and the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office. He is well-placed to offer insights into the election and what Australian businesses should expect.

Australia and the United Kingdom have a strong trade and investment relationship. Australia has two trade agreements with the United Kingdom, the Australia-UK Free Trade Agreement and the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership. The United Kingdom is Australia’s 13th largest two-way trading partner and Australia’s second-largest source of total stock of foreign investment.

An invite to the webinar will be sent to members soon.
