Health technology assessment policy and methods review

The Department of Health is seeking public input to the current Health Technology Assessment (HTA) process and how it can be improved. HTA is a process used to evaluate the clinical effectiveness, safety, cost-effectiveness, and broader societal impacts of health technologies, such as medical devices, drugs, and diagnostic tests, to inform decisions about their use in the healthcare system.

First in a series of consultations, consultation 1 aims to gather evidence or examples in relation to the objectives of the HTA Review, not previously considered through other recent stakeholder consultation relating to HTA.

If you wish to contribute, please fill out your registration details here. You will then need to submit input through the online survey. Consultation 1 is open until June 6.

Please contact [email protected] if you have any questions.
