What’s happening with Australia’s supply chains
The Australian Centre for International Trade and Investment is hosting a webinar on 10 August at 2:00 pm focusing on how supply chains are managing as we come out of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Businesses have traditionally taken supply chains for granted, sourcing components and products from across the world and adopting just-in-time inventories. The COVID supply shock has exposed the vulnerabilities in these supply chain strategies. Businesses are beginning to adopt a very different approach to managing their supply chains.
Discussants, Michael Byrne, Australia’s International Freight Coordinator General, and Paul Zalai, Director of the Freight & Trade Alliance, will discuss key challenges for Australia’s supply chains going forward.
