Sustainability dialogue
Austrade has convened the first Sustainability Dialogue with a large number of Australian Chamber – Tourism members in attendance. The dialogue was designed to feed into the next iteration of the THRIVE 2030 strategy action plan.
The three themes for the day were The Push for Net Zero, Respecting Nature and Accelerating Action. Australian Chamber – Tourism was able to contribute to the discussion on the basis of the work done through the Sustainable Tourism Advisory Committee.
This session was a specific session on the sustainability issues faced in tourism. Feedback on these issues is open through the Chamber sessions with the Hon. Martin Ferguson that are focussed on input into the THIRVE plan. The next session is on Thursday 30 May from 11:45am-12:45pm. Please contact Sam McKenna if members would like to attend.
