Tourism update | November 25, 2022

The Tourism Committee will meet in Canberra next Tuesday, with a jam-packed agenda including future policy priorities, insurance, employment, skills and migration, as well as a significant focus on establishing Australian Chamber – Tourism to be at the forefront of initiatives to support sustainable tourism. The Committee will also be joined by representatives from Curtain University, who will give a briefing on Tourism, Hospitality and Events Future CRC. This is a national consortia of universities and industry that are proposing establishment of a national Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) to re-imagine a sustainable and resilient tourism, hospitality and events future for Australia.
