ACCI renews Memorandum of Understanding with Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN)
The Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry was joined by Mr Arshad Rasjid, chair of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN), Indonesian Ambassador to Australia, Dr Siswo Pramono, and a delegation of Indonesian business leaders on Monday 1 August. During the delegation’s visit, ACCI signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with KADIN dedicated to further enhancing trade and investment linkages through the Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IA-CEPA). KADIN is in Australia as part of the B20 Roadshow, promoting Indonesia as Chair of the B20 and President of the G20. The B20 Summitwill take place in Bali on 13-14 November, and the G20 Leaders’ Summit will take place in Bali on the 15-16 November.
Export Market Development Grant (EMDG) Operational Review and round 2 information session
Minister for Trade and Tourism the Hon Don Farrell MP has announced an operational review to the EMDG scheme in alignment with election commitments. This review is additional to the legislative review in 2024. ACCI is engaging in consultations for the review. Interested members should contact ACCI.
Round Two of the EMDG program is now open. It will close at 4:00 pm (AEST) on Wednesday 17 August 2022. An information session to assist applications will be held on 3rd August 10am via Webex.
