On Thursday, July 21, members and guests attended an ACCI webinar delivered by CreditorWatch CEO Patrick Coghlan and Chief Economist Anneke Thompson.

Reflecting the turbulent times in which we find ourselves living and working, the discussion centred on unemployment rates and capacity, trade receivables and general business conditions over the years. The key takeaway from the session was that Australia has positioned itself well to deal with the ongoing economic downturn, and with vigilance our sector will be better prepared for the inevitable – that the economic outlook is likely going to get harder before it gets better.
