Online mental health support for small businesses!
The Morrison Government has invested an additional $3.1 m to expand mental health & wellbeing services available through the Ahead for Business initiative to ensure small business owners and their staff can access support and resources.
Minister for Employment, Skills, Small & Family Business, Senator the Hon Michaelia Cash, said “Being a small-business owner comes with a unique set of pressures and responsibilities such as isolation, financial stress and workload pressure,”
The Senator said that there has never been a more important time to promote VET. The evolving uncertainty of COVID-19, its impact, the difficulties and challenges arising from the crisis have created significant confusion for students.
Following the Minister’s presentation, we heard from Brian Wexham, National Skills Week Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Skills One on the objectives and outcomes of National Skills Week 2020, in its 10th year.
