Video Conference with the Hon Angus Taylor MP, Minister for Energy and Emissions Reduction

Minister for Energy & Emissions Reduction Angus Taylor said that the Government’s partnership with industry will help Australia become a world leader in hydrogen production and exports which will importantly create new jobs as the Australian economy recovers from COVID-19.

“The Government is committed to building a world-class hydrogen industry and the government’s funding round is central to that,” Minister Taylor said.

The Minister addressed the recent discussion paper ‘Technology Investment Roadmap – A framework to accelerate low emissions technologies,’ the latest government initiatives and support for SMEs with regards to energy costs and reliability, including the Energy Efficient Communities Program launched this month and plans for future development of hydrogen sector in Australia.
