Karen Edwards

Karen Edwards is ACCI’s Chief of Staff. She oversees ACCI’s day-to-day operations and procedures in: People and Culture, Finance, Administration, External Relations and IT. She also serves as the Company Secretary.

Karen has extensive experience spanning corporate services and proven success building capabilities. She is focused on strategy execution and results delivery. Combining a strong work ethic with an inclusive and collaborate leadership style, her value lies in engaging others in the journey of change, and empowering behaviours that facilitate performance and growth.

Karen came to ACCI from the Australian Strategic Policy Institute where she played an instrumental role in growth of the Institute from a small organisation to an internationally renowned think tank. Prior to this, she was engaged by the University of Canberra to enhance the experience of Higher Degree by Research students.

Karen proudly served in the Australian Army in various leadership roles for a period of fourteen years.

Karen is a graduate of the London Business School, Senior Executive Program and holds a Bachelor Degree in Applied Economics.
