Lachlan Smith

Lachlan joined the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in August 2022 as Policy Adviser, Trade Policy and International Relations.

Prior to joining ACCI, Lachlan worked in the Australian Government across a range of government portfolios, including trade. As a trade adviser, his focus was on Australia’s engagement with Southeast Asian countries and included studies on future Australian trade priorities.

Lachlan holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Arts majoring in International Relations from the Australian National University.
